I am completely obsessed with spaghetti squash lately. It is gluten free and very low carb. Add turkey meatballs and you have a high protein meal that makes you feel like you are eating a delicious comfort food dish but without all the not so good for you stuff. Yummm!

It is really scary to think of what is actually in our food. Do your research and know exactly what it is you are feeding yourself, children, family and friends. The amounts of GMO’s are shocking. Shop local, organic and know where your food is coming from and what it has been through!

Find whatever it is that motivates you to get you to workout. For me it is a little friendly competition…. whether you know I am competing with you or not!

Teach girls that they are more than a number on the scale. Society has a huge impact on their young and impressionable minds and it is our job to instill in them that their worth is weighed by their morals, brains, and heart… not by pounds. Turn off MTV, throw away the gossip magazines. Teach exercise, nutrition and HEALTH!
